CWU is a worker-led collective that aims to foster solidarity between precarious workers of cultural institutions in R’dam in order to hold the municipality and the institutions accountable for the improvement and the implementation of the Fair Practice Code.

Cultural Workers Unite is a grassroots union of precarious cultural workers in Rotterdam. It is a network of support between people whose labour is low-paid, wageless or exploited in the arts and cultural sector.

This Isn't My Only Job is a proposed campaign that focusses on the fact that many cultural workers must sustain themselves on multiple kinds of work, often underpaid positions like Horeca work. Especially during Covid, many cultural workers have either not been able to work their 'extra' jobs or have been forced to find work in other places outside of the cultural sector.
